Well I'll prob get my read on with a bunch of resources including the link you sent me. atm I've been out of commission still horribly sick and worn out. The variator I fixed does work but I'm at the point where I just want to wait till I can order a new variator setup and then fix everything. What happened was the impact gun I used on the variator wasn't torqueing it down due to a low charged (old needs replacing) battery that tension against the nut ect makes a difference in your teeth being stripped or not in about any circumstances

To add from what I'm noticing and everything I was on the right track I already re wired and connected my coils on the stator in correct formation the point where I messed up is grounding the stator itself I believe once that ground is removes it has no issues I just need to fix that wire and get a new variator....possibly even starter as kicking is getting old

I know I'm adding alot at once but I have to ask: does anyone have an Eton beamer and possibly a picture of their ig coil wired up and bolted on and stator? May help in figuring out if something is hooked up wrong ect. Just a theory that is bugging me might be why I've had all these issues before any changes were made

Here's a kicker..........I ordered a very specific size jet for my scoot months back I mean it was about 88.5 kind of specific as the two sizes in the kit I had with every single tune they were a tad off in either direction.... couldn't find it.......I ordered a new one it worked till the stator quit...my wife found it stashed in her sock drawer now over a month later...smdh

The old sock drawer monster had it.

Lol. Got a free weekend I may just tinker with the stator for now and see if I can get it right. The variator on the other hand even if it would work I'd rather have a new one to be on the safe side

Haven't been on in a while excuse my absence but will post more soon to come. I have a favor to ask any beamer owner of you could post a pic of your stator removed showing the wires soldered on? Just to double check my craftsmanship if it works I'll discount you a rewound stator as I now have every bit I need to get it right and I'm sick of them charging 160-170 for one.

Lol sorry my phone it was on went ka poof an I got stuck with good ole candy bar phone lol. Anywho I'll try to do a write up on winding the stator I had a chat with the Eton parts rep (really another name they bought em out when they closed the doors they did not realize the AC stator they had sold was not for any beamer........and now since we chatted they have the OEM .....for $175 ...😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨. $7.30 for 125 feet of 22awg magnet wire and patience. Have a few cores may make more up and sell em for a helluva lot less as others need it too and that price is crazy lol. It is not extremely hard it's a matter or time and paying attention no shortcuts. Waiting on the wire when I get the spool you'll prob see my post lol

Here's a nice lil awaited update while I give my fingers a rest: The wire came in from my measurements it was roughly 48-50 winds per pole (mainly it's the resistance or if correctly wound the length of wire results about same) I've got three wound so far I was impatient to get it done tonight lol. Have to make sure they stay absolutely tight. Funny thing was the oem stator used 22awg magnet wire the ac stator supposedly for the same motor used 20 awg and was also as I pointed out to the dealer meant for non Eton scooters as they use a dc ignition among a select few others. Wire gauge is important per the output of the stator thinner wire makes higher voltage needing more winds to get a good current while thicker wire is good for better amperage but lacks the higher volts (correct me if I'm not 100% on point lol a bit rusty) with a dc stator first off they lack the top coil with the very thin taped over winding. This is a dead giveaway you have the right stator for a dc scoot. I will at least attempt to make a how to write up later on as I want to get everything straight and tested as to not mislead or misinform. But so far so good. Most will call for an epoxy or thin enamel paint to coat the wires I found that 3 m makes an adhesive that is not only non conductive and thin but very fast drying sturdy (good heat resistance) and rubberized as to not chip or be very brittle. However being a tad ocd I coated the first layer as to catch any issues in the wire coating while winding tight.....lmao this led to some messy fingers lol but it did work

Last pole to go a bit tricky tho lol this is the only pole by itself and then wired way back to the center. And my hands need a break lol

All wound and soldered just have to test and cover the joints I have another beamer stator core to rewind as well if tests and everything work well I'll post the how to and the second finished stator will be up for sale in my lil store if anyone needs this hard to find stator for far less than what dealers ask and no labor needed lol .

The manual does not as a lot of Chinese brands do, contain the pertinent info on the resistance of the stator. Luckily I found the numbers on an e ton a tv forum similar engined atvs used a dc stator of the same size now I just need my multimeter and it's all set.

The coils look pretty, if I had done them their would be no hope for them.

thank you i cant say i feel they are pro quality but it took me unwinding them about three times and getting it the way i wanted them to look that way lol.
