From what I'm reading it would be better to have a three phase Delta or wye wound stator however I'm not that far into learning if this is going to be applicable, DC is the more efficient type at least from what I see but these scoots seem to rely on low end windings and lower output.

Found the issue coil wire is cut along with damage to the white wire off the stator

OK they are a three phase stator but in the "wye" type supposedly Delta gets more power up to 40 % I'm getting easily frustrated at nothing ATM because there is no exact guide to this stators wind I have counter clockwise and clockwise noted but being in the wye configuration I can't fully comprehend how the connections were and it was hard to get a pic or memorise. I know the front most (when mounted on bike last to the right coil) contact wire goes once around the two coils left of the contact and connects to the third coil over

I have an issue I bought a new cdi from fast China parts they swore it fit Eton beamers even when I messaged back and forth. The harness is the same number of wires but different colors and plugs the top coil on the OEM had no wire coiled on it. New one not only is wound but has a red wire on it.........I could always rewire it eventually but what I'm worried is this really the right stator??

Got it had to trace and retrace and have fun re wiring plugs ect it runs

It has one more coil had to rewire the plugs, space the flywheel off of it and adjust the sending unit for the spark ..but by jove it works and is within tolerance for the system

At idle it's 12.72> volts (edited: this was after a charger was hooked up during a test run a wire on the stator was damaged by debris, bad idea to ever run with covers open) and handles it well. Here's a better pic of my remade stock exhaust lol it has two outlets one more separate chamber that orig was unused being used for higher rpms now with almost like a pressure setup idk how to word that but it flows out the second pipe in higher rpms. And yes that's a D&D pipe piece on the end I took from a junk CBR 600r Attachments:

Got one last bit of tuning and tinkering before I switch to body work. I ordered 4g rollers as it's engaging a tiny bit early when it reaches the upper end of rpms after warming up the first few passes it acts up kind of cutting out, and leave it sitting for a second playing with the fuel flow a little it makes the next few passes just fine. Bow for starters when first starting if the bowl already is full with the valve off it won't start valve on it will my guess is float may be a tiny bit low.

This is the one I bought on eBay it was labeled as for e ton beamers....it's not it fits an Eton viper ect but it's an AC stator. normal people yes I know it would be smarter to return but for starters I cannot wait both literally and impatiently lol plus I really wanted to figure out a way to do this....so I did....using reading material about stators counting windings paying attention to the detail of direction of windings and wiring formations, plus there was an article on changing some larger dirt bike stators to DC not the same wires but it gives you a grasp of what needs to be done ect.

Holy crud it works and it works well. I searched and searched the net to see if anyone ever has done this just to get and idea before I did and I found more people asking how to and only answers of replacing the stator lol. But I got it.
