The hose looks like it goes to a fill for the radiator. I have no idea about the tubing. Attachments:

The tubing is aluminum and about 6 ft long with a bunch of U-bends, there are 2 - one one each side, has to be for extra cooling because the radiator is about 1/2 the size of a regular radiator. Radiator cap is up front behind the plastic. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I've had no time to tinker with it but I think with a little aftermarket re-engineering it will be a sweet ride

Computer fans! I have roughly a 4 x 4 area of the radiator open and that's the first thing that came to mind but I do recall "SOMEONE" mentioning them. sounds like you have the same type of setup as i do, 244cc with 2 radiators. my scoot overheated from the day i purchased it but i solved it by drilling 12 holes in the CVT cover. the fan you mentioned is a radio shack part # 273-238.
