well it was good while the price of gas was down, hopefully it will not hit the $4.00 range.

Yup, filled up "scootin'" today, 2.38/9 for pemium... going up every day. Thinking about orderring a couple more scoots while the prices are still down, and they are available, for future projects.

I paid $2.49/gallon for 93 octane on Saturday. If it ends up as high as it once was I might have to do a 70cc so I can get better than 40MPG.

Welcome to the forum Flyangler. Good choice on the Cadenza. Did you see that new CF-Moto Glory? looks really good too. water cooled 150cc specs say 65mph but the importer says it can really go 80, fuel injected looks like one to consider if you are going the $2,500.00 and over price. scootertronics.com/cfmogl150lic.html

Regular gas (15% ethanol mix) currently goes for $6.22 where I am at. And it is rising here too.

We should have no fear...when we bought our scoots, we became immune to the "gas flu"...we'll just be all the rage again, that's all...

My gas bill for a night of riding around town has gone from an average of $2.50 to an average of $3.00. It's really hard to complain about that for recreation. I usually ride around for 2-3 hours. Think about what you pay for 2 hours in a movie theater or 2 hours bowling or 2 hours at a bar etc....
