Hey stepthrutuner/rallyrrr Are you about to drown in Nashville? Talked to my aunt in Ashdown and she said old red river is out and they've closed old US 71 and it's threatening Int30. More rain predicted through out the state, my garden has raised the white flag, the fish have all drowned and I'm couped up in the house!! LOL The Arkansas River is out of it's banks and at the levie in morrilton it is running over, At the Houston town 7 miles from here the Lavre Fourche river is 9 ft above flood level and has not crested and more rain coming! Last but not least it's got the scooter weather screwed UP!!!! I told the Mrs yesterday afternoon for just about 5 minutes I spotted a UFO, she ran to the window and said where??? I said the sun popped out for 5 minutes!!! LOL JR

It took her forever to get through Ashdown etc. yesterday afternoon on her way home. Water over the roads. Went up to Greason and down to Millwood earlier today. The water at Greason was about four feet from going over the spillway. The word is they are holding it back because the Ouachita at Camden is about to take it away. I think the rain is over for a while though. I think we have gotten 25 - 30 inches since the first of the year. The last time water came over the spillway at Greason was in Spring 1967 if I remember correctly. Keep your snorkel ready! ;D

Causticbelt, Welcome to the forum. I doubt that he'll post. That's a friend of mine. I went to Virginia last night to go see how his Mustang was turning out and ended up talking him into looking for a scooter. ;D He's looking at a Sporty 150, a Wildfire moped to swap to 114cc (or larger) 4 speed, or a 2 stroke. The Sporty 150 looks like a great deal, but a 4 speed in a little moped would be very fun. The 2 stroke just can't cut it on a budget unless he can get a deal on a used one.

Guys when stepthrutuner is talking about it going over the damn on Lake Greeson it's dang serious as when this lake is at normal conditions there are places on the lake that are 400ft deep! Now imagine what it's like now with it just inches from going over the damn!!
The SW Ark area where he is from and where I was raised has a group of 4 lakes not even counting Greeson that their waters all end up in the Red River by Texarkana where it closed old US 71. Of course the Red River goes right through the middle of Shreveport/Bossier City La and the old River gets mean in that area which of course ends up in the Mississippi which will drown New Orleans. Hang on Stepthrutuner and keep your scooter above water!!! BTW HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! JR

I hope there is no danger of that damn breaking, it would be devastating to anybody downstream.
