I did get my lil fix to work at least for now yes a new one would be great ....someday lol. worked all day ran for about 30 miles jet is still 90 due to porting and exhaust mods hitting 45-50 no probs. But yes it was creating a lean cond With the boot opening constantly and I kept replacing it back on. was said in previous post a mint oil is widely known throughout the v4 community as a go to for fixing boots o rings ect. Just takes a loooong time alcohol being the carrier and the oil being the rejuvenator. Use like 1/3 the oil per alch. However I just used a mold aka a piston and heat then quickly freezing repetitively to stretch it out. Been holding since last night at 10 pm est and actually is very tight neat. Another trick I learned was a brush on application They sell but the oil is cheaper just takes 1+weeks of soaking depending on how bad. I didn't even know about the oil. I just remember heat soaking in an oven to remove inpurities ect.

Anyways jmk wasn't trying to sound smart aleky or nothing please don't take it that way but its good.....got bored with some alum flashing tonight. My covers have been near impossible to find right now I have the alum painted but I'll smooth it all out coating it to cover the ridges and creases it's removable without damaging and I even started on a glove box too don't mind the mess been tearing everything apart focused on this lol

The screw driver under the seat stuck in? Is connected to the idle speed screw And yes that's an old 12v Makita drill battery lol its keeping the voltage regulated for the turn signals ect been riding like that for two months waiting on a normal battery and to fix the elec start

Ordered 1500 rpm clutch springs 1000rpm torque spring and 7 g weights the 6 g I can max out easily and if I swap higher I might as well take advantage and tune the torque higher to match then add to the take off with stronger springs for the clutch.

side panels gonna get smoothed out it's just mainly there as a cover and the seat ect all can be removed still rather easy just a few screws the other side I haven't gotten to yet but it needs a cover to protect the cdi as for the crate I wasn't going for looks lol it's hauled a good deal in it so it works for now at least the "xenon" bulb was brilliant the current one I have was the wrong mount so I just rigged it to see and it actually made the lines on the road ect easier to view than Amber light.

Ok well I'm callin it a night for now I'm a small bit rich been fine tuning everything step by step when the wife isn't asking to go somewhere.....the carb air leaks are all gone the jet is about a 87.5 ish and yes don't ask....anyways the belt wasn't truly old when I got it as the owner has replaced it it's idk how old lol but still I'm gonna replace that next since I'm gonna be playing with the cvt next atm it has stock springs and 6.1-.2 gram5 rollers with the 1500 clutch it should engage at a respectable power without the belt shifting before launch and the 1000rpm torque spring to help with changing the shift basically gonna mix n match till its right

I'm just glad it wasn't a reed cage leak I caught on to that being common redid mine with motoseal and even sealed the base gasket copper coated the head ect. I've never really had issues with crank case leaks I'm very religious about changing seals and sealing the case itself torque patterns ect. Its got plenty of torque straight from the motor now it tops out in a few seconds on flat ground with the stock bore still now it's a matter of tuning the cvt I figure adding heavier weights will bring the shift and therefore speed up then adding the torque spring will help even it out to still have a similar accel combine in the clutch springs for an even better take off and I may have something. Just gonna experiment number by number mix n match. I def need the speed round here. Had a semi try to pass real close and run me off the 45 mph two lane road then an suv that lives around here keeps harassing me riding right up on me ect like I'm ruining their lives ect so much. Jeez just pass me. Once I get the cvt dialed in and the motor is running really good now tuned it a lil more and Its the best she can be with what's on it. I'll start fixing up and improving the electrical and body more. Eventually I'll either bore or add more performance for now sticking with what's reliable.

My bet is putting bigger weights in will bring your rpms down and top end will suffer.
