Just got in from the junkyard with some parts i salvaged. I found a shortcase style rocketa looking scooter that had the same bystarter and fuel level sensor plus the float on it was solid plastic instead of the plastic coated foam so i should hold up a little longer Found a set of turn signals and some headlight bulbs on a eton beamer that fit perfect now I am road legal Got all those parts installed and everything works good. Took the dash apart to look at the tachometer, needle was a little sticky so i pushed it around a little bit now that works, appartenly it just sat too long not in use. all gauges and electricals good to go except the rear brake switch gotta find one of those since hte eton one didnt fit may try to shave the housing down and glue it in now i gotta find a headlight grill, right running board plastic piece, battery cover, and the front truck lid and i am good to go. Bought a 27a battery for the alarm/remote start... it will crank from at least 200ft away and you cant even touch it without the alarm going off then i have it set which is pretty darn kewl

kewl but it will drain the battery. Must be nice to have a scooter wrecking yard nearby.

yea it is the only yard within 100 miles or farther technically it is an ATV salvage but I guess the guy likes scooters too I just tell him i am there and I get to comb his yard for whatever I need. Saves him from searching and I get to see all the goodies. He just got a newer model zuma wih the horizontal minarelli that I am going to try to trade it out of. He wanted 300 but told me he would let me get it for 250 it is not in the best of shape so I am going to try and trade him a 81 honda cm400t for it. If anyone needs parts let me know and I can check on them for you

Just sold this scooter for 300 plus a 12ga winchester shotgun hahhahha i would say 150 profit and a gun is pretty good for a scooter i paid 75 for plus parts and gas so i spent about 150 total. I appreciate all the help and tips. Now i have money to spend on my 03 yamaha zuma i got at the junkyard on tuesday

Sure thing I will post up progress pics and stuff on the Zuma. I much prefer a 20ga for small gaming hunting not sure what i am gonna do with this 12ga yet, probably steel wool it, apply a new coat of blueing and post it on gunbroker or something and see how much money i can make lol
