woooo!!! my scooter lives!! i fitted its new 2nd hand slightly modified cylinder head it now runs like a beauty puurrs like a noisy 2 stroke kitten anyway! now that its fixed i have a new problem, its not reving properly it hits like low revs and then stop and dosent rev any higher meaning the scooter goes about 15mph.. is this a common fault with moped? is the petrol too old (has been there for 2 years) if u have any clue please let me know what do i need to check

I'd drain the fuel and put fresh stuff in if it has been there for two years. Two stroke fuel goes bad in less than a year.

My SYM is a 4 stroke. There was a spacer in the variator took that out first to get the higher gearing but I needed to change the CDI to one with no rev limit Put a suzuki racing clutch in it and changed the exhaust I only run 3 weights in the variator ;D i bought a brand new scooter today a local to NZ Euro Rider The SYM seems hard to get parts so its just the back up now Attachments:
