Sounds like a vacuum leak to me. But then it almost always sounds like a vacuum leak to me.

do you mean in the diaframe or vac lines.
BUT WHILE THE GUTS ARE OUT all over............ anybody got any other ideas

well check air vacum lines first then well diaphragm ?? re tighten intake manifold get a squirt bottle make soapy water , spray intake and out on carb start and look for air bubbles ? ?

Vac lines then perhaps the intake manifold. If you want to spray it I would use starter fluid and when the idle goes up look in the area you are spraying in.

go lite on the starter fluid it eats the rubber manifold
right ? Ever seen it happen? I'm not sold that it does melt the rubber. I know of a person that considers himself an expert on the topic and he says it does, but I wouldn't trust his judgement. Same guy says to use carb cleaner and I have seen that melt some rubber/plastic tubing. It is one thing I've told myself to test but have not had a need to try it yet.

Ceck in my manuals posted here. You may have the same carb as a Kymco people 150. There is a page for the manual there. I will post a link later.
