Especially original stuff like your fan mod...even if I did eat crow on that one, I'm glad I was wrong.

This one is going to be mighty interesting; I only wish I had remembered to measure my cam before I installed it. All I know is that it was different, but I have no idea about angles and durations on it... And of course there was no documentation with it. Kliff, will you be testing with both stock and performance cam? /Otto Hey Otto! Not so much cam testing on the fiddy. Just gonna let him get used to the scooter with the stock engine, then plug in the 72cc modded engine, and while his stocker is out, probably make a twin brother to the other 72cc engine, so he'll have a spare. You know kids....shut off, or pinned WOT! He'll be needing a spare....LOL LOLOL I know it Kliff. "You mean those levers on the handlebars are for stopping?"

BTW Kliff, how is crow? is it best fried, broiled or bar b qued? As far as cross posting goes between forums, if you have your own original material that was posted on another site, well it is your material you can post it if you want. I do not however want to see somebody posting a thread with somebody else's material included in it.

Marinate over night in the BBQ souce of your chioce, with a spoon full of extra vinegar thrown in, and layer with chopped onions. The Q on a low fire, slow, about 35-40 minutes turning severral times, basting as you go, again with yer favorite sauce... I mix a little dark Jamaican rum in my basting sauce.... Tater salad, & cole slaw...big ole glass of seet tea, and a Port chaser......ummmmmmummmmmmmh GOOOOOOD!

#3 is HERE! I know I blow the whistle and beat the drum for GSMotorWorks....but it is hard not to, when I get such good service, great prices, and service after the sale.
Check this out.... Orderred #3 last Thursday
Friday, it shipped. Thursday, the 21st I picked it up at the terminal.
Now things get interesting....at first glance, the box appeared un damaged, so I sign the release and head home. As soon as I start unboxing...things take a nose dive. Three body panels damaged or broken on the front of the scooter. The carton had taken a "lick" and I sorta sloughed it off. My fault, should have looked closer, and openned at the terminal, filed a claime....yadayadayada.
So I get am email together to John, look up all the part numbers, take the pics, even explain my negligence for not having seen the container damage, and filing a claim at the terminal. Just wanted to know if he had the parts, how long it might take to get them, and what they were gonna cost me.... I didn't hear back from John, until today.
He's got the parts, they shipped today, gave me a Fedex Tracking #, and best of all, NO CHARGE...they like to take care of their customers!
So if I seem to get carried away, plugging GSMW, I apologize, but when you got a dealer/distributor, with fast shipping, a great customer raport, and a commitment to customer satisfaction, don't y'all ALL wanna know. I know during my ordeal with ATVD, I could only wish for service like this, then Jim, (kz1000st) turned me on to GSMW.....
Anyway....anyone wanna guess where I'll be orderring #4?

That would be heaven in a container, and actually, I'm thinking along those lines.... though not a full container, just a "quantity discount" load, about 10 at the time....

It's here, the PDI has started, just the usual, ripping out PAIR hoses, gas lines, etc., replacing the rear brake bulb with on of those super duper 24 cell LED's... Now....what I'm ponderring, at least until tomorrow, when I have a go at it... The stock wheels are some NARROW little buggers, with 3:00 x 10 tires. And I just happen to have a matching, but about 1" wider 10" wheel with a 3:50 x 10" tire. That slightly wider tire and wheel sure would look cool on the back of this Pony. Gonna drop the exhaust tomorrowm to check for any obstructions in the manifold end, so I may as well see if it'll fit while the exhaust if off. If it des.....SWEEEEET....It'll be there! Also fabbing a "crankcase breather" box tomorrow, as I took that funky little snorkle tube off the breather. Will probably switch out to an UNI and homemade exhaust when I swap in the 72cc engine, but that will be story for another day. manual fuel valve, fuel lines....tomorrow will be a busy morning

Exhaust off.....first things first....SWEEEEEET! The slightly wider Sporty 150 rim, with 3.50x10 tire fitted right up, and "centerred" perfectly....oh yes, I like this. Not near as much rubber as I'd like, but WAY better than the 3.00x10 rear... Then I ripped out the vacume petcock. MAN! I didn't know the lil fiddies was supplied by 3/16" fuel line.... Well, not any more, at least to about 3" from the carb, this system is 1/4". There won't be any fuel delivery problems here! Then I got sorta lazy...how to build a breather box, with minimal tools. Ended up needin a 1/2" drill bit, drill for bit, and wire cutters for wire ties. Other than that, 5 minute epoxy, to glue the brass fitting into the hole I drill. GE Silicone to eal the breather, and glue, it into the PVC t fitting, after "screwing" its rubber grommet into the 3/8" NPTaccess. 2 bind rubber caps for 1&1/2 " pipe, and a little time....'bout 30 minutes, start to installed. See how these caps spead, they are TIGHT...put them on dry! Install with some wire ties... That body will be concealed when I reinstall the body panel tomorrow. More then....I'm tired and my back is SHOT!

Oh yeah....forgot to mention... valves were .005" intake, and LESS than .0015 exhaust.
Just for "bedding in purposes" I set them both to a svelte .003" I'll recheck, and get on spec at 200 miles, the 3rd oil change. As normal(for me) I'll cahnge the oil at 10 minutes, in shop test run, install magnet in drain cap, and start off with Royal Purple "break in" oil for 0>50 miles. Change again RP "break in" again for 50>100, ditto for 100>200, ditto 200>750...then synthetic RP 15/40 to 1250. All future canges every 1000miles after 1250... Yeah I'm an eccentric....but I'm a retired eccentric, and it gives me something to do... it IS DEFINITELY overkill. 10 minutes, 100 miles, 750 miles, and every thousand after would be sufficient, I'm sure.

Kliff, you don't really think your nephew is going to take those caps off to drain oil out of that nice crank case breather catcher do you. How about a petcock to drain it with.

Man those valves were way off. How do you plan on getting your hand under there to turn off the fuel? plan on leaving the rear fender off?

Man those valves were way off. How do you plan on getting your hand under there to turn off the fuel? plan on leaving the rear fender off? I'm hoping, with some close trimming, a few carboard templates, and some trial and error, I'll be abble to create an access hole in the inner fender for that valve,,,, If not, I'll re=group and figure out plan B while thinking about Plan c, while actually inacting Plan D... yeah, I even confuse myself some times too...LOL Good think I don't punch a time clock!
