I had one of these about 1958. It was a 1951 Brockhouse Corgi, based on a WWII Brit paratrooper scooter. It looked just like #33 in the picture when I got it. 98cc 2-smoke, manual clutch, one speed transmission (neutral and go), no suspension. Perfect, and thanks for sharing that. The reason I dug the pictures up that I did was because so many scooter people today have a narrow view of the scooter, thinking it has to have a step through design with a floor board for your feet. The one you posted has neither but is obviously a scooter to me, as are the ones I posted above.

I've only seen one of these, a friend in High School had one in 1960. It was a really nice looking scooter with a 250cc 2 cyl 4-stroke engine. It had a lot of reliability problems but I don't remember the details.
