I'm interested in finding a scooter that is 125-150cc. Not a fan of the Vespa look, more sporty for me. I like bigger wheels please. price range around $2,000.00-$3,000.00. Last time I looked around was about 10 years ago so i'm sure there is some new stuff out there. Thank you for your suggestions.

Obviously the Yamaha's and whatnot, but if those are pricey, good options are Lance, Wolf, maaayyyyybe some of the Taotao's, Peace Sport, Icebear, Roketa? But ideally, Lance and Wolf. Big wheels, pretty sporty and sleek, and probably not out the ass expensive. Hope this helps! Lance's look so goooood ^^

They sell pretty cheap second hand. I don't want anything too cheap.

I saw one yesterday, a TaoTao Zoomer. Not sure if it comes in a 125, but that's definitely a damn good lookin scooter. They knock off of big name dealers in terms of styling, so might see some Yamaha or Honda inspired stuff.
As for price, as long as you know basic matinence, and you do your oil and gear oil changes and all that good stuff, they are great bikes for the money. I have a powermax, and I've put it through hell. Still runs and drives great. I literally ran it through about a foot of snow for an hour...no issues at all. They're great if you take care of them. If you don't...well...they'll not take care of you lol.
But with proper fluid changes and proper care, they're great.
