Please help me I am about ready to scrap my scooter. It's a 150cc Avanti Betaiso 4 stroke. The scooter ran fine until I had a buddy change the spark plug for me instead of doing it myself. He stripped out the spark plug hole and attempted to retap it and did a horrible job to where it couldn't be repaired so I replaced the head. After replacing the head I noticed I lost about 15 miles per hour top speed. It was very slow getting up to speed so I double checked the valves to make sure they were properly adjusted. As far as I can tell they are. But immediately after I change the head I noticed the exhaust was loud I just thought that the gasket was bad upon further inspection I realize there is a small hole in the head next to where the exhaust manifold bolts on. So I purchased another head put it on make sure the valves were adjusted and started it up I thought I heard a small popping noise when it when it started and it was just as loud as the other one so once again I inspected the head and right next to where the exhaust manifold bolts in any head there was another hole I'm almost positive this hole is not supposed to be there. Can someone please help me and tell me what could cause this so I can fix the problem and also I would like to know if this could be the reason about the acceleration and top speed loss I did pull the spark plug out it look like it was running really lean and I did adjust the air-fuel mixture didnt make a difference if someone could please help I'd really appreciate it as soon as possible I'm almost to the point of no return and scrapping it darn thing. Sorry about the misspellings and stuff I'm using voice text
