My motor has arrived and I finally got a hold of my friend who will be helping me with the install and sadly he can't help me for at least two weeks.

When it is in I am sure you will be happier with the performance.

Yeah I am quite sure I will be it's a big motor upgrade that still looks a lot like the one that's in there now. And it should be more than enough take off power with my big butt on it.

To me the big difference in power was noticed when I went from a 90 to a 160 then again at 350.
You still might consider a slightly larger rear sprocket for bottom end torque.

I will reevaluate it when I get enough time to ride it to see how it responds when I get on the throttle...Thanks

Without my buddies help I have the motor mounted but I have an issue with the wiring from the motor itself. I know they are likely for the transmission but the connectors are different and I don't know which is which.

How about the color of the wires and did they give you a wiring diagram with the motor, do you have a diagram for the bike or did you write down where the wires came from?

I still have both motors and the wires but as far as where they came from I'm not sure about the new motor as I am waiting on a response from the seller for a wire diagram.
When I installed the motor my friend wasn't here I did as a solo installer. It had the wires coming out of the motor to a plug that plugged into a harness on the bike itself.

So it was a wire bundle in a single plug, I'd check the wires from the motor out and see where they came from then try and relate that to the new motor.

Ok. I am not going to mess with it till he can help me. I tried to rewire the replacement turn signal lights and messed that up.

Sometimes it is wise to wait for help, cross the wrong wires and some thing can get burned out.

Time to sit down and trace wires back to their origins and see what they do. Since the motor maker is not the same as the bikes maker you may not be able to rely on wire colors.

I had it firing up today. My buddy finally showed up and helped me with the throttle cable but I have to order a replacement the only one I could find locally is too long. But I managed to do the majority of the work myself without help and it was ready to fire up...
