What is the stock clutch spring in the1p39qmb an what would be the best upgrade for top speed and acceleration?

Top speed is not going to be affected with performance clutch springs, they will affect you off the line performance. Going with stiffer clutch springs keeps the clutch shoes fromgripping until the rpms are higher. I think of it as reving you motor and popping the clutch on a manual shift car to burn rubber. It will not increase upper end rpms or top speed.

I installed one today with the red springs and I don't like it.my stock clutch reved higher

I would bet you will like mods to the variator. Give that a try.

I installed one today with the red springs and I don't like it.my stock clutch reved higher Well that's what clutch springs do make it rev higher before it engages On four strokes you need a more agressive cam that doesn t make low end power In a two stroke we use them when we put pipes on because it changes the power band

Found out they sold me springs for 107mm.I'm happy with the 1500.

I know this is an old thread. But how can I find a combination of cam, variator , Clutch springs that would give me more top end on my Linhai 257cc JCL scoot.
