I got a peace sports tpgs-805 50cc scooter and i thought it would go faster. Are there any suggestions for tweakin it safely by putting little or NO money into it?

Welcome,
The best bang for the buck wold be to put lighter weights in the variator. GO with a set of 5 grm weights and it will wake up for you. You could also consider a performance variator like a Dr Pulley or a Prodigy.
Let us know what happens and if you look in my sig line you will find links to resources like service manuals.

I am not familiar with that particular one, it should fit. I didn't see a spec on the weight of the rollers/weights.
Weights come in a roller and in a slider version, sliders seem to work better. You do want lighter weights than what is stock, it will let the motor rev higher and produce more power.
Performance variators are larger than stock ones and this changes the final drive gear ratio letting you go faster.

I went back and logged in to ebay and saw the spec, it does have 5 gram rollers, you should notice an improvement with that.

I have researched a little about changing the variator and weights and now I need help deciding what clutch spring set o use. what are the pros and cons of both the 1500 rpm spring and the 2000 spring? I am about 220lbs so im thinking 4.5 gram rollers and a new performance clutch. I also got a New CDI, Ignition Coil and spark Plug so we'll see if that helps by its self. I will give my feedback when I get the parts in and installed.
