I recently purchased a jonway 250 cc scooter for 700 $ with a little over 1000 miles. It won't start by itself always has to be jumped by a car but once started it stays running like tops at 65 and accelerates great no overheating but the guy told me it was an accelerator pump but its this flay piece with like 3 hoses in it and he said that was wrong...please help I need it

The fuel pumps have a vacuum line, a gas in and a gas out line. So three lines should be right. Some people replace it with a small electric fuel pump.
Click on scrappy dogs ad on the left and I am sure he has a replacement one.

I had the battery tested turned out good and I checked them lines and one of them is like 2 inches long and cut. Does the carb have a blowoff valve? What is an accelerator pump? It sounds like it wants to start but I have to jump iy wiyh a car and it jumps in like 2 min and runs great when warmed up but I don't know. Thanks for the quick feedback also

Also the battery that is on the scooter is a 120 cole cranking amps seems to me like it don't have enough juice to cycle it over fast enough.

A blow off valve? not that I know of, might have a drain line for overflow.
I'm wondering if your auto enricher (choke) is bad.
