I have a Donner motor off a tank DE150TK and for a long time when a would ride it and if i gave it full throttle it's like it was starving for gas. I would pull over and some time's it would die and sometimes i could keep it running but now if i can get it started i ride down the street and it starves and die i can get it started again but can not give it throttle or it will die on me so my question is can a bad fuel pump give me these symptoms I've look on here but so far can't find anyone that may have had these problems yet thanks for looking

If it sat for a while you might want to clean the carb, a plugged jet will cause this kind of problem, old gas can be a problem especially on a 2 stroke. THen make sure your fuel filter is not plugged.

OK, so first i will clean the carburetor, and the jets real good and see what i get there. but i ride this scoot every day, its a cool little four stroke! so, it doesn't sit around, but ill check the vac lines see if one is cracked or came off. one thing is that black canister thing on the vac line i noticed, got a little melted. some how maybe that has something to do with it running bad.

I've experienced the same thing and it was a clogged exhaust pipe. Also check if the intake manifold is cracked, another common problem and MOST IMPORTANTLY-check your valve clearances. Tight valves area bear.

OK thanks guy,s i don't like that black canister anyway so i,ll find info on that. the exhaust is a good point ill check that too but the intake manifold is not cracked i check that out and its good to go and i check the valve clearances there in good shape so ill do some homework on that canister and ex-nay that and then see what i get

It is part of the PAIR system I may have misspelled that.

OK thanks rebel i removed the pair canister it's not that hard, the vac line that go's from the fuel pump to the canister i plug into the intake port, and then i plug the rest of the vac line's that went to the canister and the pump still pump's. i get gas into the carburetor but when i pull the spark plug out it's dry, after twisting the throttle and trying to flood the thing the plug is dry, so i have the carburetor off now but every thing else looks good. fuel lines; vac lines; fuel fitter so I'm sure its in the carburetor with the spark plug dry and black. it maybe running lean too, maybe that has to do with the pop and spitting that it was doing before. thanks again for all the info but that's all i know for now.

Some pops and spitting can be caused by a lost nut or a blown gasket between the exhaust pipe and manifold
while that carb is off make sure you can blow a good stream of air from gas intake to float needle hole.
you say you are lean, have you adjusted the A/F screw to rich up.
your vac line should only go 2 places on most bikes.
1. to the gas flow shut on/off petcock at bottom of tank.
2. the piston aggitator on side of carb
lastly, most charcoal canisters have a gas tank vent line with a backflow stop valve, many are stuck up in there where you can not see it.
the vent line comes off top of tank, then on to backflow valve, then to canister, this lets air in but not out.
they can malfunction and stop air intake to tank, create a vacume and slow gas to the carb
some of them just stop working if they turn upside down.
if you have one of these valves, take it off, and put a gas filter on the end to clean in coming air to tank instead. AND ZIP TIE it down to bike
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE AUTUMN
