Well I hope so. That dealer has a selection of California legal scooters, motorcycles and off road machines and I really wanted one of their scooters they had up for a long time. I had planned on just taking my trailer down there and picking it up on a Saturday morning.
I have heard many more good comments on them than bad ones, bad comments do happen though.

I assumed they would ship the order as soon as possible because its just considered good business She apologized that it was not sent on monday and said she was not sure why it was not picked up monday like planned She mentioned that sometimes they dont pick up if the truck is full and I think she said something about some companies only pick up certain days of the week They are shipping via Vision Express www.visionexpressltl.com/pdfs/SoCA_map.jpgI am not sure if it was excuses or not but that shipping map shows they pick up on Monday Now if they do load it on truck Thursday (tomorrow) it should be here in VA on Tuesday 21st I am still upset they did not ship it monday like I was told. Just bad business Perhaps this will be the only issue I have LOL BROTHER CAN YOU SPARE A LAUGH
These things seem to always get delayed, may sound sad but making sense is not what these many people all coming together do.
My girlfriend never made sense, but she is loyal to a fault.
folks have a very hard time many times, it would be great if all things went as planned, but (DAM IT) some body always get a flat tire.
the good thing about superiour is,,,,,
I have never seen them not try to correct a screw up.
that is the single thing in the end that you want from any body about any thing.
That and admitting there was a screw up and they do,
that in love and commerce will always save ya!!!!
sorry to throw water on your legitimate frustration, but they are words to the wise i think
as for computers, i quote the Dean of the Harvard school of technology "there is not a single computer in the world that does not insult its master in more then 75 seconds of use, to see what i mean just look at a bread toaster's friendliness to use".

don't get me wrong i'm not over here with steam out my ears and biting through nails or anything lol....
I am posting all details and information about this entire experience because it gives a true review of their service in my particular case/order
Forum posts by real people are extremely useful when judging a company and their services. So I like to be thorough.
I am more saddened by the delay then truly angry. Its like I said if I tell a client something is going to be done on this date then I better have it done by that date. When you have money involved it makes things touchy. We do projects that go into the 8-10K dollar range so we are very strict about keeping our time and deadlines.
They say it ships today and tomorrow I should have my tracking information. Time will tell.
I have found good and bad reviews on them and the thing to remember is most the time a solid and good review is not even posted online somewhere. People tend to just post when they wanna complain or bash
I am posting no matter what happens good or bad LOL

I get a bit irritated when I hear the girls on the phone tell a patient they will do something "right now" then not get to doing it for hours. Seems it is a manana thing I guess but happens way too often in California.

i am not lol ' ing at your expense or situation . BUT APPARENTLY u have never been moved by the us army their shipping contractors need to be shot. especially if your in Europe coming back to the states

I hear your frustration, my point being that it just seems this stuff is a part of every dealer from time to time.
But the honest ones correct for it.
when the shop does not up date a order and the phone person knows 9 times out of 10 it was shipped, number ten gets it bad.
when i ordered from them it went so well it was surreal, they discounted the bike so i could get a helmit, sent extra bulbs
it landed at my house on a pallet and all i did was put gas in and ride away with the mechanic on the phone with me as i road.
Then a ridding buddy looks at the 200 cc BBK on it from the factory
and says your shroud is cut out like for a stoker head, and we find extra gaskets up and down the head and he tells me someone stoker'd the bike, then i find Phillips bulbs in the break lights,
And i remember superiour telling me "Your bike is coming right from BMS, they prepped it at their ware house, so it will be 2 days late".
it dropped a vac line once and it has 2 new break switches and i am on 3rd new head light bulb
I think some employee was rebuilding it for himself.
11,000 miles latter the gold paint looks great.
Go figure
mean while, i think your covered fella, they read these forums, and if there's a problem, they will correct it.

Well I ordered from them to begin with because I found good reviews more so then bad.
however your experience with them discounting your bike and such. Then you find your bike has been modified already by someone else. That makes me curious.
I have ordered wholesale units at dealer cost direct from manufacturers (not as cheap as you think). They do not assemble and repack units to ship them. They are sent in original crates. So why would the manufacturer BMS assemble and repack your order?
They have an entire ware house full of units ready to be shipped. Superior is not a drop shipper either (according to them)
I am thinking Superior had your unit in their ware house and were either using it themselves or prepping it to show at their store front. That would explain the 2 day delay, the bike arriving assembled and the modifications to it.
just my take in that situation. I of course have nothing but your experience and my experiences when ordering direct from a manufacturer.
Note: I am not a dealer A friend of mine does have his license and I can order units through him at dealer cost. Like I said above though dealer cost at the price of say 1 or 2 units Not really as cheap as you can get online from dealers who order say 100+ units at a time.
I hope for my sake and your sake that I am incorrect in my view of what happened during your order. Only time will tell how my experience goes.

i wasnt in the army. my hub's was google MOS-18B
enlisted service members especially NON COM's,,,, especially senior noncom's will bust u in the face if u call them 'sir' naw, but the most common reply is.... "sir, dont call me that-- i work for a living"
in my hub's selected career in the army, there WASNT allowed to be female officers. if u googled u know why , now.
now attached to his battalion , was female officers, but they were shrinks, psychologists, etc, that type. they were in a support role .
and, even tho, they were young tiny girls they would "JUMP IN YOUR FACE" if u called them 'sir' their common remark would be, "well gee, if u cant tell the difference between a SIR & a Ma`am , i guess we will need to pull u outa the game."
to a SFer nothing is worse than being pulled from the 'game' even shot, heck shot more than once they 'finish' their 'game' no matter what.

idk the stats but SFers make up < 1% of active duty members their 'wash out' % of just getting selected to be asked to join training is over 99% my hub's started "2 weeks of hell" with 185 people out of that 185, 2 were asked to join , just training' to become a SF.
the %'s tell the story.
IF YOU ARE NOT THE BEST WARRIOR you wont even be asked to join training
so am i proud ? F&&K YA
& the %'s were alot lower in 1977 - 1986 now they need more so they take more NOT saying those guys arent qualified Berets would rather be WAY under staffed than take someone that isnt up to the bar.

Now that is funny...
I have several friends in the Marines who I got to watch go to Iraq and thankfully come back from Iraq in one piece. I am glad they made it back.
--but back on topic-- I still have no shipping notice from Superior Power Sports. I called again today. I spoke to Sandy. She said my order was not shipped yet and scheduled to ship this coming Monday 13th....
I said ok wait a minute now.. This is the 3rd time the shipping has been changed on my order. I need to know whats going on.
She said let me send you to someone in our ware house. So I wait on hold for 10 Minutes before I hang up (im at work the entire time!!)
Right as I walk out to return to work my phone rings and its Superior Power Sports. A man named Josh has called and stated Sandy came and told him the situation and when he picked up the line I was no longer there.
He said since they are running the Free PDI Promotion that my order has been delayed due to others in line for their PDI and shipping. He apologized greatly for the mis-information given to me by the operators on the previous occasions that I called.
He stated he would push my order ahead of the line for the PDI and at the absolute latest have my order shipped out this Monday and I would have the Tracking and confirmation Tuesday in my Email.
He said they try to be thorough in their PDI but be timely and they are just backed up due to orders.
I told him to have his guys take their time. I am ok with waiting I just needed to know what was going on with my order. I prefer they do a thorough PDI and get my order shipped when ready. I told him on Tuesday if I have the shipping and tracking information then thats great if its not there by Tuesday I will call to see whats going on.
That was basically it. The guy was of course extremely polite on the phone and though he seemed nervous (kept repeating things and somewhat stammered a few times) I feel his nervousness was due to the many delays I have had. I don't feel he was nervous due to any sort of dishonesty. So if he was being dishonest and giving me a run around he is damn good at it LOL
so we continue to wait

its prob true. did they do a big promo ? is that why u picked 'em ? if so........ yea id give 'em a few days.
but dont i recall u saying u went thru paypal? for the 45 days ? count them days up, ya know?
