As I have never installed sliders is there a certain way they should be installed? Thank you, Don B.

If they are Dr Pulleys the "Patent" or "Pat" goes inside towards the Crankshaft.

No they were not Dr. Pulleys. I bought them from Scrappydogscooters. Took it for a test ride and picked up about 1000 rpm's. Good pick up thru WOT. Don B.

Rebel,You are correct. If my Tiny Tach is correct, engine is now turning 7950 r's. This engine only has about an hour of run time since bbk was installed, maybe after more break in it will get more r's. Still have to check if the cvt belt is coming all the way up on the variator. Don B.

I think that you are hitting the right range on RPM's for a ride around town scooter, or are you trying to make a racer out of it.

This scooter is not street legal. Racer? I have a couple of Buddies ( they're both HD techs) that have scooters to play with. They were bragging about how fast there scooters were. So my stepson owed me some money and had this scooter in a shed, so we struck a deal. This scooter was in a zillion pieces and the Chino-meter quit working at 10,000 miles. Plus the fact that he had wrecked it every way possible. Having never worked on a scooter, this has been a real learning experience. We have a side street here in the hood that they are no houses on, so every now and then we go drag race. Lets put is this way, they are not bragging about how fast there scooters are now. Now they want me to tune there scooters. Maybe I can get some scooter business to go with my small engine business. Sorry fir the long post. Don B.
