No idea Jeremy! I put the first mile on it....since then, it has been out there somewhere. Ross came by Dad's today, and cut the grass. It had 68 miles on it, ( been raining here some), and Ross ain't saying how fast.... Maybe next week I'll do the 1st service, and get another test ride...or not! But so far, Ross ain't saying....lol. BTW, did remove all the manual p/cock, auto fuel filter, etc., and temporarily, went back to pure OEM on fuel deleivery. Seems the brass fitting I bought, to transition a 90 out of the bottom of the tank, to a 1/4" pipe thread, was "off" on the metric side by like .25mm on the thread pitch....could NOT get it to stop leaking gas. So rather than cobble up the OEM system, I put it back whole, till I can find the fitting, or metric tap I need, to make my own fitting. I think the tap, and a home fab is gonna work better than trying to find this particular metric to pipe 90deg fitting...

Metric pipe fittings are based on BSP (British Standard Pipe) fittings and are just close enough to American standards to frustrate you. They are often off by 1 thread per inch and a bit on the dimensions. Often a big wrench and some sealant will take care of the problem. A tap and sealant is better.

500 mile service yesterday, oil almost as clean as that put in a couple hunded back. Ross reports just a tad over 50(china)mph now.
At the 1000mi service, we'll adjust the valves again, clean out the cvt "break-in" dust, and play with some variator weights, mybe hang a GPS on-board, and see what she really does.
PS....NO, as in NONE, NADA,,,uh-uhhhh, ain't happennin no mo! Oil consumption. If the Royal purple did anything, it seated the rings to the cylinder, but it would not stop it's own consumption. Castrol 15/40 diesel w/10% Lucas oil stabilizer seems to be working perfect.
I'm getting too old for the oil wars, ya'll use what a want, cause with no scientific data whatsoever, I'm a happy camper with my witches' brew. No need to explain, nor justify.... but my oil 'sperimenting days are over.
