is that white thing the fuel line is running to a fuel filter? Sure is Jeremy. I have about 3 auto filters, that I've tested for flow charactristics, and this is one of them. Most of my tests were run on full 1/4" line systems, and have shown gravity feed flows of 1 gallon of gas in 15 minutes. I tested this system today, and it flowed 1 gallon of fuel in 21 minutes. I guess that reduction to 3/16" just before the carb slowed my rate down some. But even at that rate, a 50cc QMB would have a hard time using more fuel than this system can deliver. The "bowl design" also provides a water trap, that can be visually identified, instead of flowing any water sraight through to the carb, like most "straight line" filters do

Interesting.
I had a flow through fuel filter I bought from autozone that starved my carburetor for fuel. Something to do with the vacuum of the carburetor not being strong enough to suck the fuel through the filter at about 6000 rpm.
Switched to a visufilter and the problem was solved. I havent seen anyone use this particular setup before and I am eager to see how it turns out. Honestly im more excited about this project than max.
If you get a chance try out a windshield. I found that that was the best overall bang for the buck I spent on my old yellow scooter. Increased my top speed and I found it to me more comfortable.

Done, ready for Ross to pick-up. Yeah, it took a little longer than I had planned....but a couple of those body panels were a real biatch to line up! Anyway... pretty stock for now, just a short summary... Air box inlet tube removed Air inlet restrictor removed Exhaust Pigtail cut, 1/2" drill through 2 internal baffles, 3/8" drill through 3 internal baffles, directly about the center tube. 1/4" fuel supply, w/manual valve, to just before carb NGK Iridium plug 38/80 jetting Crankcase breather fabbed. PAIR system eliminated 3.50x10 rear wheel & tire Front fender eliminated Rear fender bobbed, and trimmed for fuel valve under tank 24 cell LED tail light Trunk installed 10 minute, 1 mile test run, OEM oil dumped, Royal Purple B/I oil installed "MOPED" tag installed. Alrighty then Ross, she's all yours, 1st oil change 100 miles. BTW guys...I CAN NOT take all the credit for this, Ross's Grandfather, George, on his Mother's side, bought him the scooter. My Dad handled all the fiddly body fitments. All I did was the PDI and a few upgrades.... Thanks George, thanks Dad, without y'all, none of this could have come together for Ross. ;D
