I moved in with my Boyfriend, David about 2 months ago.
What makes him so special is that I am just honered to know him, period.
If I have trials or tribulations I see him do so much and I feel petty.
14 years ago, .David went down on a Harley He said that when he woke up he knew right away that he was paralized that the doctors didn't have to tell him, in fact he told them. He can 100% take care of hisself. His indenpency is what he values the most.
He says he can do any thing an abled bodied person can do except walk. He has the best attitude and an awesome since of humor about it.
Afteran hour of really geting to know him you don't even see the chair. I never even think about it. I actually forget that he is in a wheel chair or that he can't walk all the time. I just see David.
I will catch myself saying I can't do something and I see him do things that people that can walk can't do.
He does't even get disability. Not that there is anything wrong with that. He was just bound and determined he was still going to work, so he just changed professions and got 2 Masters Degrees
Any way he still loves the thrill an exciting about riding and is quite the daredevil and knows how to still ride dunebuggys 4 wheelers and anything that you can play on. he just make a sort of harness and is used to hand contols.
Anyway, like all of us that say "One day.. I am gonna get me a..
His dream is to get or to build his own trike. So I tell him all the time that since scooters are cheaper than motorcyle trike he ought to ponder on scooter trikes and that they have some bad a$$ designs too.
But if I when the lotto one day or when my ship comes in I would love to get him one.
But David says, he thinks that he is going to build one. And believe me, he can.
Anyway, I just thought this since this was the trike section that this would be something about a really cool and awesome person to share.
