Pretty cheap for that, I have one just like it at home and there is a reason they are cheap, I never use it, but the pieces that go with it are worth the price and I do use those.

The motor just doesn't last like a real Dremel. I burned one up in a few minutes. Some of the tools aren't too bad. But the cut off disks really suck.

I've used the cut off wheels with some good luck as well as the bits, the grinding stones seem to wear fast, but I have little use for those. Like you said, some of H.F. tools are usable, some are less pleasant, over time though they have been getting better for the most part it seems to me. I have an 18 volt cordless drill that I really like, seems it was on sale recently for about $15.00. I bought their 110 volt impact wrench and it works great, in comparison to a ratchet and socket. then the 4 inch angle grinder is a great buy.

I picked up a small package of the cut off wheels the other day. You know how most are bonded together with some sort of fiber criss crossing them? Well these don't seem to have that. I've exploded about 15 of them so far. It says, "Cut off wheels", on the package but I've had much better luck with other brands.

Ahh, well I know the wheels you are talking about, it is a different type, these are a sand type abrasive and not meant for the kind of work the ones you are talking about are made for. these are not going to hold up to the abuse the fiber type ones will.
