Now I know there's more than one way to skin a cat. But this is how I get glued on hand grips off handlebars. A hair dryer might work but boiling water works better. Just don't let the plastic touch the pan. A few minutes will do it. Unfortunately Chinese grips loose their dye. Mine kinda turned brown instead of black. Slips right off with ease. Use a towel to pull the none throttle side off. RD

if you don't glue them you can take an air hose and blow them off. 120lbs in one side and out the other with the grip and don't aim at your buddy. john

I did mine the quick way. I used a utility knife, with a new blade. About 10 seconds on each side, and no grips. ;D Put some ProGrip gel grips back on. Very comfortable now.

I just cut em off, clean bars and put the new 1's on with a little soapy water to help slide em on

well if you like the way they feel, you might not find another set like them, so you do what you got to do.
