I saw this bike in the scooter shop where I use to go.
It's a GY6 that's been hopped up to 180 cc (I think). It has a turbo charger with a built in wastegate, oil cooler mounted over the cooling fan on the engine.
The kicker of the whole deal is it has NO air cleaner, just a 6" straight pipe leading to the turbo. There's no muffler just two pipes one from the wastegate and other from the turbo pointing downward.
the body is the classic style painted flat black with two small chrome cans instead of a dash broad. The front of the bike is labeled Acme Scooter Company with the A looking like the anarchist symbol.
I know that there is no way the bike was fabricated at that shop. And when I came in they had a Acme Scooter banner hanging from a wall.
I cannot find anything on line about it. I will try to get some pics of it, but I pretty pissed at the guy that runs the shop right now.

sounds like a beast, I don't think it is one that is going to be a daily rider with n air cleaner or muffler. Perhaps he is going to participate in the T&G r some other drag race.

Must be for show or the track. If it's for show it might not even run, just look good. Not that it can't be done, it can. With enough $$$$$ you can put a Chrysler 426 Hemi in an 83 Honda Civic. I've seen that done and it ran.

A turbochager can be done, but with no air filter the engine won't last long. Amazingly enough turbo engines are fairly quiet on the exhaust side. It would have to be a small turbo though, so the engine exhaust could spin it up enough to work.

I think the turbo is too large for the engine. But I'm thinking the turbo may increase the power a little having a high flow muffler without the raspy noise.
The bike is on the sales floor with a stock tag. I will stop by and try to get some info and pics.

Verucci has introduced its latest 150cc scooter as the Viper 150 Turbo SE. With a look of a touring bike like a Honda Goldwing the Viper Turbo will catch your and fool you as not to believe this could be a scooter.

The thread was stated almost two years ago, I don't think the OP comes around anymore. So pictures are probably not going to happen.
