Many months back we discovered that scootersitereviews was written by the people at sicilymotors over at SD. Also that their prices had hidden shipping charges for lift gate in them that only popped up at the last second. That might have changed so you should call if you decide to buy there. If you're looking for low prices www.greenearthscooters.com is pretty good, but if you decide to buy you must call your order in as they don't have a secure website and your credit card might be compromised.

Thanks for the information. I have decided that one of my new best web friends is the Better Business Bureau. I am finding a wealth of info there on service and customer satisfaction. I am concerned about some of the findings for a few businesses. I guess that is helping me decide. I am going to call GS Motorworks today to talk to them about a scoot that I like, but not in the color I want. But I see it in some of their pictures, so maybe they can get it for me. Since we still have 2' of snow on the ground it's not like I don't have time to wait for it. The depth of the mud in the alley to my driveway is about the same. I need spring.

Ah, GS Motorworks. Great company. They deliver quickly, stand behind their warranty and have a fabulous parts department and John, the parts guy, who will take care of what you need. If you read the GSMW thread at SD, you'll see John's name mentioned favorably.
