Hi, David. I hope that our compadres on ScootDawg will come over here also and get in on the Trike forum. I think that there is room for both forums and it is good to have this one devoted to trikes.

PS: David, I note that your 150-11 has a different tread on the fron tire than my 150-8. Mine is more of a onroad/offroad tread and we think that this is part of the wobble problem on the front and a bit more of a rough ride over all. Bryan at MountainMoped found that his settled down as the tires were broken in. Same thing on mine was noted. Considering that these trikes are built for primarily the Asian, African, and South American markets where this type tire is more practical I can understand the tread. It woud be a good move if IceBear requested street tires for US consumption. Most of us are not going to go cross country with a trike.

David, I am rereading some of my printouts from Alley Oop and others including you and I am wondering if Quan ever got back to you regarding the two questions he asked. What does IB think the tranny problem is. Oop says it will shudder in reverse or forward but not in both. Mine has been shuddering in both but I seem to have been able to adjust the shudder out in reverse. Have not had time to tinker anymore on forward adjustment and it is snowing today so I wont be doiing any riding. Reb, the IB tranny has an actual differential with spider gears that allows one wheel to pull when going around curves.

and the reverse, is it an electric motor that kicks in to pull you backward or an actual gear that kicks in to reverse direction.

It is a geared reversing set, complet with shifter in the tranny section of the left crankcase Doug. It's a special casting for the trikes, with additional gears, linkage and shifting forks.
I know it would be a lot of work, but is there antway to move, or copy those linked threads to here. Then they would be starting off with a larger data base, they've already spent hours on, right here at their finger tips? Just curious?
Hmmmmmmmm....."Drag Trike" sounds like something Ed Roth would have built..... HMMMMMMMMMMMM

I went over there and looked, the first one is 14 pages and I have to copy out each post and repost it here. If I get real energetic I might weed out the frivolous posts and just move the guys information over.
Perhaps if David wants to start a nonsense thread and toss in several fairly empty posts (maybe 10 posts), I can start moving over the good stuff and putting it in the posts here.

Rebel, I am as guilty as anyone with regards to the frivolous posts. we tend to wander over there and end up totally away from the original subject. I will try to keep a lid on it here. If you cull out the nonsense posts(and most are in good fun) you could cut that 14 page posting to about 4 pages.Personally I hope that more of the Trike guys will do like me and belong to SD and ScooterRebels.

OK, I found it easiest to just start doing a copy and paste, if anybody else wants to do some of that and pick up where I left off,it would be great. Otherwise I'll do it a bit at a time.
