I can't say that ever seen a $10 bill like that, but I had a $100 bill and sold it. I still have a $20 bill like that. Old money is just cool. I still have a few $1 silver certificates.

Hey, I believe that's what was called a "gold certificate" from back in the days of the gold standard. That's even before MY time... LOL!
I know nothing about money collecting, but like $1,000 bills, it might be worth something to a collector of such things. I've heard that original $1,000 bills go for several thousand bucks to collectors. Maybe gold certificates are valuable.
We went off the gold standard a LONG time ago... Worth checking out with money collecting websites.
Just my 2 gold cents worth...
Hope it's worth a bunch for you!

I have a silver certificate one. As I recall, they are now really only valuable to a serious collector since you no longer can turn them in for the actual gold. Seems that since there were so many of them out at one time they are not high dollar collectibles, but I could be wrong, Now if you have silver or gold coins that is another matter since the precious metals are now worth a lot more. When I was in high school gold was set at $36.00 an ounce, now it is in the $1,100.00 range, silver is running about $18.00 an ounce, but in the 70's it was about $5.00 an ounce.
