Presence of a great talent. We all know that Leo is great at drawing characters for the forum. We have seen him use a lathe to turn another cut on a needle valve for his carburetor. I'm willing to bet that few knew that he was as talented as he really is. Check out these links and see some more of the work he has done. stoneway.org/default.aspxlivingmasterpiece.com/stoneway/index.asp

Dad GUM Leo!!! Seems we are in the presence of an Art-TIST here. All kidding aside, very nice work. I especially like the paintings, Leo. We scooter bums come from all walks of life, huh Rebel. I can't draw a bucket of water.

Well Rebs & Rebettes,
I'm humbled. I had the pleasure of speaking with the General hisself by phone yesterday, and may I say we have a real gentleman at the helm. Doug, Kliff, and all the others who tirelessly maintain this site (as well as the other sites!) are sincere, and extremely generous. I'm truly glad that I can make some contribution to the graphics. I've certainly been blessed by the wealth of information these sites bring to me. And by the warmth and sincerety of my fellow website compadres. You're a great bunch, one and all!
I'm so glad you all seem to like my work. (Thanks for posting those links!) I've had a good run for the last half-century, but health problems with my Wife and me have slowed that run to a crawl for the last couple of years... Nothing that's gonna kill us off, but sure has put a kink in our productivity.
I'm beginning to get back toward where I need to be, and look forward to putting in some honest work days pretty soon. Heck, I've got one of Carlos' marvelous variators under the tree, so I had better be "wrenching" by Spring!
Christmas is very much a time of remembrance; of good times past, loved ones who have left us, and the comfort of knowing we'll be with them again one day... And, the new year is a time of starting over clean; with new hope, new directions in a world without much direction, and new possibilities for victories over old problems.
So, from this tired old soldier, artist, biker and ornery Texas Reb (and the missus)... MAY THIS BE THE MOST BLESSED CHRISTMAS, and the HAPPIEST NEW YEAR ever!
Most sincerely,
Leo & Betty in Texas
