Well it appears the powerhouse football programs didn't want to be embarrassed by having BSU or TCU beat them in a BCS bowl so they pitted the two teams together even though they played each other last year. I've been kind of riding the fence with the BCS debate as long as deserving teams get in one of the bowl games. But their decision with the Fiesta Bowl is typical of their mindset with non BCS programs.

BCS is really a poor system to determine the best team, but money speaks.
