Well, waaay back in April/May (June?) I had a problem with my rocker cover that turned out to be a bent intake valve. In order to get help online, I made a video and posted it on YouTube.

yes we have the full manual for these engines, your rocker cover is installed right side up, and ex does stand for exhaust
what u need to do is get a gauge for your valve clearance and you usually have to set it between 3 and 5, we do 4 whre you can barely move the rocker arms, that will most likely cut down on the knocking but yeah good luck with it, we hardly ever have luck with these engines, keeps burning oil after like 4 different piston installs, lol
