I posted this over on SD too. I bought an El-Cheepo digital camcorder ($28) at the close-out store 6 weeks ago (?). I intended it to be used for fishing and maybe scooter pix. I took it out for a test drive and amazing - it works! The quality ain't great and that fact that I was shooting thru the original windshield + part of the extension hurt some. I had it clipped to my jacket and found out later that it shifted when I leaned and didn't always come back to level. In the video, it's the camera that's tilted not the scoot. It took about 4 times as long to edit out waits at stops than it did to do the ride. Here's about a 5 mile ride. s722.photobucket.com/albums/ww224....cooterride1.flv

Maybe it's because I'm late getting in here, but that link just takes me to photobucket's main page.

That works. Thanks.
I need a couple of those $28 cameras. Got any info on it? I know it was a closeout store so I may not find it at that price, but you never know. It did almost as good of a job as a $7-800 camera that I own. Vibration from my scooter killed the $150 camera I had, so I could use a cheap replacement for it that I wouldn't worry about so much.

You're overnear Easton right? We go down to St. Michael every few years for vacation. I got it at a store named Big Lots. I looked on the store locator and it looks like the closest to you are over in Seaford DE or Salisbury. It's a Jazz DV151 digital camcorder. You have to buy a 2 gig SD card for it and it's tough on the old AA batteries. I used the holder from my 2 way radio and clipped it to the top of my jacket. I just mad a new holder. I email you some pics later.
I just googled it. Amazon and others have it on-line for around $40.

Yeah, I ride in Easton and St. Michaels all the time. I've been by that Seaford Big Lots many times and keep saying I'm gonna check it out but never do. Guess I'll have to stop by. Thanks.
Just did a search for completed listings on eBay and I see the ones that have sold there went between $0.12 and $25. Hmmm.
