I found an article written by a fellow in New Zealand that has re-built a 50cc China scooter. Most of the modifications are the same as we see all the time, but, a couple twists are tossed in. "I dremmeled out all the machining marks in the engine case and ground all the oil tracks to the honda GY6 spec cleaned it all up so it was all nice and tidy." Then he says he tosses out all the chinese moving parts and puts Honda spec parts in it, pumps it up to a 92cc, well, here is a link to the article. www.thescooterreview.com/reviews/long-term-fleet/414-custom-qchineseq-50

Really cool but I wish it would have gone into more detail.

I agree a good article but more tech talk would have been nice.
