ok sorry I'm at work. But here are stats for now. I pulled off my 16" tired roketa variator to see what it's all about. The variator was (i think) 5.5 inches across. the one off my 13" tired sunl roketa whatever was 4.5 inches across. My wieghts were 14 grams and a touch wider than the sunls 12 gram weights. My belt also said 906 22.5 so I am assuming thats longer than the sunl... I got a few picks too just not with me. I put the 12's in my big one and it has a better powerband. But the chopper will need new ones LOL I'll post pics later....

double posting, I saw this same thing on that other forum.
Makes total sense that you have a larger variator on a 16 inch wheel. It all has to do with gear ratios.

The question I would have is, can you mount that bigger one on a smaller wheel scooter? Do the holes line up?

you know i thought about that today. My buddy says that the racing variators really are bigger OD. I didn't measure the ID to see if the splines were the same. could count off the pics I guess....
