I don't mind a little sinning, it's the corruption that has me upset.
I love that, may I quote you?
Sure

Reminds me of a parable I learned when I lived in japan.
The Nigerian minister of transportation visits the Japanese minister of transportation in his penthouse office in a 30 story office building.
The Japanese minister of transportation points out the window at a 10 lane highway, earthquake proof, sunami proof etc from the Airport to downtown Tokyo and proclaims loudly proclaims "I built that" and whispers "and managed to keep 2% of the cost for myself"
The Nigerian minister of transportation laughs and says you must visit my country.
So the Japanese minister of transportation goes to Nigeria and meets the Minister of transportation in a tin shack in the middle of nowhere...the Nigerian minister points out thru the hole in the wall at wasteland and loudly proclaims..."I built that for $10 billion dollars and kept 100% of the cost for myself".
Personnally, I would rather have the corrupt politician who manages to build a useful road or something.
It is kind of like the Hippocratic oath, especially the do no harm part.
We send the people to the capital that promise to do what we elect them for. Now I really do not mind if they get some special attention from groupie types, I don't mind if they get over dosed on the excrement of yeast buds, I don't mind if they can not get done what they promise to do. But if they go up there and line their pockets with money from people buying their vote, if they go up there and make it so that no other candidate from another party has a chance in hell to get elected. If they have no concern about the pockets of the people they are representing, If they are just out for themselves in any way at all and not doing the work they are being paid good money to do. I have not problem with them being shown a place in the bottom of the ocean with lead boots on.
