Stoopid me! Backed into a parking spot and noticed it was kind of steep toward the curb when I parked. Did my business and upon leaving was trying to rock it off the center stand. Try as I might, couldn't get it done. Got off and rocked forward with the handle bars and immediately laid it down. Had to let go or I would have been laying on top of it. Imazing how fast you can pick one up when you need to. Wet sanded with some 600grit and followed up with 1000grit and polish. Can hardly tell. Now just have to heal my pride. Wasn't going to rat myself out, but may keep somebody else from doing the same thing. Bottom line- watch where you park!

They put a pretty heavy clear coat on some of these scooters, that makes it great to polish out some scratches. Don't drop it any more though.

Don't drop it? No chit! First scratch since new June 06 and pushing 15,000. You think I am not bent out of shape just a tad? Makes a person want to drink.

LOL, well you made it all better. I know it always hurts with the first scratch but if you made it 3 years without scratching it you did great.

What idnative forgot to mention was that later that evening after visiting our father in the hospital we both drank ourselves almost silly (had designated drivers). I think he was trying to soothe his wounded pride from scratching the Tank.
