Looky what I found online ;D Just scroll to your model to get part number you need. Sure is easier than looking it up in the actual parts catalog. Gives retail price and apparently you can order direct too. Although I will probably just get all part numbers I would need (could probably even set it up in the online cart and print it out or save it and then just order from Richardshyosung. www.alpha-sports.com/um_parts.htm?gclid=CO6X-7H4sJwCFdRS2godz3WtOQ

Yeah..the guy finally got his parts list going on the Xpeed...yeah...scroll to the 'transmission'...part #8 belt...JUST $327. I thought I was getting hosed when I paid Richard in Korea $190 for a new belt.

Do you have all of the numbers on the belt so we can try to cross reference it? I have not even taken the cover off of my CVT yet.

I was just ordering a spare. It's a Mitsuboshi DCVS 25.2X881 belt. The cogs are on the top and bottom. The Silverwing also uses a double cogged belt. A reasonably good price for a Silverwing replacement belt would be $140. Gates doesn't make one.. if they did it would be a Gates Xtreme which is two price tiers above Powerlink Premium.

Harry, since it is a spare...maybe when winter fires up and folks are fixing their snowmobiles...you could bring it to a shop and cross reference the size. Does that sound stupid, I am just thinking you might be able to cut the money in half if one of them could crossover.

I used to have a United Motors Powermax and my friend still does. I ordered a few parts through alpha-sports, but wasn't real pleased with my experience with them. Alpha-sports tried to do their best, but their supplier wasn't the best. It would take a long time to get parts, and then they would always want to raise their prices. I found another site with a UM parts list, never ordered from them but their prices are a lot cheaper than alpha-sports, you might want to check them out. The site is West60cycle.com. For the same belt harrywr2 mentioned above, that is $327 at alpha-sports, is $218.35 at West60cycle here: partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche.com/west60cycle/UMAmerica_OEM/UMAmericaSC.asp?Type=13&A=26&B=17

I suspect it might match a Polaris...as the oil filter does. Unfortunately, the local Polaris dealer is less then helpful. Actually told me he didn't have a oil filter 'like that' before I quoted him the Polaris Part# you managed to dig up. The belt is going to be a bit pricey..$100 anyway....it's a high quality belt to be sure...I put the calipers on the existing belt at 4,800 and the war was close to non-existant.

Jaxco,
The severe duty belts in the link look to be the same construction...price is a bit better at $119. Unfortunately no lengths and widths are given.
