Messing with my variator and chiped the front part

I was putting the variator back on when I slipped and knocked a piece off the top of the outer part of the variator pulley. It has enough of a crack in it that it will hit the belt and screw it up. I went ahead and started it up and sure enough it hit the belt there and that's bad.

So what I need to know now is where can I get a variator for the 250B? Roketa has one listed for $120 and I found a Dr Pulley one on ebay for $160 but it'll come straight from Taiwan. I only need the outer part, not the part that houses the rollers. Does anyone know where I could obtain just that part?

In the mean time I'm gonna try and put some JB weld on it and see if that'll keep me going until I get this matter resolved. I know I gotta make it as smooth as glass.

I found that I can purchase just the part that I need (not the whole variator) from

but this is for a Honda reflex (Honda : NSS250 AC (05) MOTOR SCOOTER, JPN, VIN# JH2MF061-5K300001 TO JH2MF061-5K399999)

Question: Would the reflex variator face plate be an exact replacement? Would the variator be a direct replacement for the linhai 257cc MC-54-250B??

gregg at sunlparts.net is pretty good with 250-B parts. on the other board he goes be pedez2000.

Thanks a bunch Harry! It looks like he has a whole variator for my scoot on his board for $50 which is less than half what roketa wants for it.

Threw ya a bone on the other board, cause I can't do it here.
