Finally nice to find an active scooter forum around the internet! Well, just thought I'd introduce myself.
My name is Connor, and I've been into scooters for right around three years. I tried joining Scootdawg, but it seemed to be locked, and then stumbled upon here by mistake. Soooo...worked out well I guess.
As of now, I have three scooters, and I've been very involved in learning as much as I can about them, and I hope to learn more from everyone on this forum!
I'm always open to messages, or answering questions ^~^

All mine are 150. Installed remote starters and alarm, performance kits and change oil and oil gear every 500 miles, they run great

If I'm being honest, I don't think the gear oil in any of mine have ever been changed xD. Both my 150's have under 3000 miles, but my 50 has almost 8000

bigbeastgy6,Welcome to the forum!I've been riding now for over 55 years... Whew, time flies! Back in the day, I rode mostly Harleys both chopped and baggers... along with an assortment of Brit twins and a few Japanese "newfangled" rice burners... Now, at 71, arthritis keeps me from climbing on and off big bikes without more pain than I'm willing to endure. So.. 11 years ago I rediscovered SCOOTERS and they have come a long way since the Cushmans, Lambrettas and Vespas of my youth. I rode a Chinese 150 for 7 years, and once I wrenched out all the "Chinese bugs" I really enjoyed it. Since then, traffic speeds on local roads have increased so that a 150 just isn't up to keeping up. And I find more and more that to get where I want to go, I need to sneak onto the freeway. So I traded the old GY6 on a well-used Kymco 250 several years back. I was wanting something close to a Chinese 150 in size and weight, but with 250 power and performance. It's small, nimble and yet can run 70-mph when needed. These early Kymco "first attempts" at "touring scooter" are no bigger than a 150, but do weigh more. They didn't quite fit the cruiser image riders wanted and were soon morphed into larger rides with bigger wheels. For me though, these oldies are just right! The saddlebags, fishtail exhaust and wide-whites are just an old geezers memories from much-loved Hogs of the past... Today she even wears an "illuminated swan" from the 1940's which once adorned my 1950 Chevy. It's tacky, but brings with it a lot of great memories!Today's scooters let me still ride in my old age (and mighty affordably too) so it's scooters for me from now on. Below is an old pic of "Minnie Mouse"... '07 Kymco 250 Grandvista with 17K miles on her clock when I bought her... 20K now, and not one single issue or repair needed... Reliable as the family sedan!Enjoy the sport! Scooters are a whole lot of fun, and great transportation for the money!Ride safe,
Leo in Texas
