Hey I wanted to ask if there are any fuel gauges that work with the Eton beamer II aside from stock I got bored and had an idea for a conversion also the stock stuff is hard to find and expensive as heck. The speedo is a cable run and I can possibly use aftermarket. Fuel gauges work on resistance and some may use a diff field of low and high just trying to figure out where to go before I combobulate a pile of trouble lol

Well lighting power isn't the issue if you run the lights off the ac side of the stator The stator on most of these bikes have a lighting coil and a charging coil
I know on the Zuma 50 the lighting coil can handle 120 watts of light But the charging circut sucks
There is a how too for a full dc conversion on the two stroke stella I never looked to see if it would work on the hm set up
There are some hm scoots out there that are full dc But thet are also dc cdi so you have to re wire a lot of crap to go full dc In the us market the one I know for sure is the 2 stroke vino

I have an Eton aka pain in the rear lol I know it's a DC cdi. Stator I couldn't tell you off hand but it runs a common ground the lighting part of the stator seems to cut my engine off with a low batt for just a larger horn or headlight sometimes

When you turn the key on do the headlights come on If the headlights come on with the key and scoot not running it's full dc
If the headlights don't turn on till you have the scoot on then wire the extra lights with the headlights

The stator is an 8 pole with I believe four wires

It's more or less no extra lighting I'm just in the market for a better headlight and setup. Thinking of replacing the stock gauges as well BC of damage and lack of funding to afford the new set that is very hard to find for this model
