If it's a 2005 then the next step would be maintenance if you haven't done it Any and all rubber products tires belt hoses if more then 5 years old should be replaced Even if the belt is in spec it will be hard and glazed and slip causing lower top speed

As the owner of a shop id be pretty embarassed if i didnt but thank you for the advice i do need a new front tire and if anyone has a good preference im open to suggestion i just want something that keeps me on the road and doesnt scallop ect. The owner was pretty good otherwise the belt is brand spanky new from my shelf to my scoot as with ignition coil due to wire shielding being damaged voltage regulator due to issues and fusible link the gaskets i just replaced even added copper sealant and some aircraft sealant where needed for added security i can do quite a bit i just dont like to jump right out and brag kindof thing im more or less accepting of old timers right or wrong and always open to learn new tricks as no mechanic is absolutely knowing eveything if they are then their ego ect will lose them work and such. Mostly im looking to see what others have found to work well as far as certain brands and types of upgrades for this yamaha made 50cc as per its temperment and history of issues i like to know every last thing beforr i just slap a part on because it may work for another motor but not for this. Every motor has a personality and no two are the same

Ok i got the oil pump working it was a lil air in the line im guessing lol but also im having a bit of a brain fart but with a big bore kit i know it needs more fuel per larger jets do you guys run the oil injection per adjusting it higher with the cable? or do you run pre mix? Because with that lil scare i need to absolutely make sure this lil pump can do it

This is where the yamaha oil pump is nice you don't have a cable to worry about Every one I've done i upgraded the oil pump to the new yamaha one or the adjustable one but the adjustable one is hard to come by It's pricey but there are many guys out there running the oem yamaha pump with bore kits no issues It really isn't till your get over the 10000 rpm range that more oil is needed It's the same oil pump on the 50 as the 90 and the 100

I just been running the ole dirtbike standard 32:1 and...it still hasnt smoked much?? Lol wth i dont believe its lack of oil but i do really like the yamaha oil pump idea what model do you use and do you have a link to give me a general idea. I just hate not seeing smoke much and not knowing if its getting enough oil so its just been sitting
