I have a tao tao cy50 t3 scooter that I bought used. will crank and run but is flooding out severely at any increase in throttle. If I feather the throttle it will run up the rpms but only if it is on the stands. Its a 2013 with 756 miles on it. I know its flooding because when it shuts off the gas pours out of the air breather. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Bought it for my wife to run around town with and want to make sure it doesn't quit on her miles from the house.

Pull the carb off and clean it out, you may have a chunk of dirt in the float seat valve.

Clean the carb not once not twice but three times. I kid you not people who don't take them apart often have to take them apart and clean them several times to get it right. Just remember if it's an adjustment screw count and write down how many turns so you get it close when you put it back together and anything that has an oring replace the oring
