im confused, when I bought the performance variator I liked the 4.5 rollers from 5gr stock then I put in 1500 rpm clutch and torque spring and the rpms went 1000 higher and 2mph slower.now that tells me hevier rollers but bought the pipe and its suppose to rev more.if I didn't put in the torque spring I think I would use a 4gr and my rpms would be where I want them to be but the torque springs makes it rev high.any suggestions

The torque sprng do not make the motor rev higher, they delay the shoes from engaging until a higher rpm is achieved.

Rollers/sliders do change the rpms. Lighter ones get your rpms up higher larger ones slow them down.

when I put the clutch and torque springs in my rpms went up over 1000 rpms and haven't even rode it with the pipe yet.i thought the clutch springs affected take off so I assumed the torque spring was maqking it rev higher

Senior moment here, I was thinking of the clutch springs, but I still don't think the torque spring affects the rpms.
