i moved the needle down in the carb econmmy went up power went down. So half a groove was orginised by putting a brass washer under the needle
while I was at it I found a longer diaphram spring so that went in too
I was thinking about making a little obstruction in the carb to increase air speed in the venturi
this carb goes well now i will use the slightly bigger carb to put the obstruction in

I know you have mentioned your linux laptop before. I have a netbook that has Ubuntu on it and it needs a new version updated, what linux was it you run.

i run Mint14 on the laptop.
this desktop runs Ubuntu 12.04 and it dual boots with Debian Wheezy
I reckon Ubuntu 12.04 is the best as its supported for 5 years after 12.04
just install it and remove the Unity Desktop
I run a script in terminal to get the Resricted Extras that includes MS Fonts and flashplayer
netbooks have no DVD/CD drive so you need a USB DVD/CD drive or put your HDD in a PC
I have been a linux user for 8 years

Yeah, I have had linux on something ever since windows vista came out. Right now the netbook is the only thing with it. I didn't know you could dump the unity desktop.

yeah install Gnome Shell from the Ubuntu Software Center and on reboot at the log in screen click on the little gear icon and from the drop down menu click on [Ubuntu Classic] then log in
and the Gnome3 desktop will display
I find it better to write Ubuntu to a DVD @ 4x so your DVD/CD drive dont have to rev its head off
I prefer Pentiums but i use an AMD everyday because its reliable a unexpected bonus
