I read these links above with great wonder, what kind of mind compares Chinese bikes to a Honda.china bikes are for mechanics, Honda's and Beverley's are for folks who just wanna ride.
wanting to work on a bike all the time is a fine thing, but never confuse that with living a whole life, there are other things in life to do then return defective parts to scrappy,
whom the last time i bought from, stopped even asking me to return the broken at the factory crap parts they sent me, she just sent new regulators 3 times at my request by phone (thanks ohla)
these bikes are for wrenchers, these forums are for wrenchers
wrenchers should call them selves wrencher's, its not a thing to be ashamed of
and not victimize those with other goals in life, like riding the darn thing instead of working on them.
my best real love to you all, ride safe and ride wise
PS never put 93 in your gas tank, 93 is just low test with a spark retardant and that spark retardant leaves tons of carbon in a head that burns gas badly no mater what brand it is, and at a lower temp, that's why its good for bore outs with thin cylinder walls, it burns cooler cause it burns delayed and extends the life of a big bore by running cooler, as a big bore has less metal to transfer heat to the fins.try 89, sometimes that is a good thing
I CAME BACK HERE TO EAT CROW I SHOT MYSELF OVER THIS BADLY WORDED POST ABOVE
not so much over the tech stuff i Said, but the cultural side.
But before i start i want to truly welcome some of the new folks i see here, cause you new guys of the past few months have left some great post and made this forum shine a lot brighter
not to leave out as well some great handles
---fallinmythos, Blankman, workdog, razorfitness, just a thought
stuff like that rings my bells-cool stuff
anyway back to eating crow, back in the bluefront days, this forum rocked bigtime, cause like doug every body could relate to "Bluefront", plus he could cook deserts like a wizard, could have the manners of a saint and was a certified motor cycle mechanic and a bit of a graphic artist, and had endless patience helping folks-
He was a really well rounded fella,
And while this drew great jealousy from the cavemen among us, even that was a compliment to him.
my point being, all fixing and no play makes china bikes a dull subject.
like bluefront, a lot of you guys are a lot deeper then you let on here as well, most likely cause men bash each other so much and learn early the play ground bully's can't stand a mature adult.
never let the mindless macho cavemen stop you from showing your more creative side, the creative guys get the best girls, make the most money, the best scooter mechanic I know, burns incense all day long in his busy shop, is just one case in point.
you new guys to these forums, keep in mind being a rebel, means braking away from all this
"living life in a angry macho box crap"
post your hobbies, speak proudly of adoring your wife, the beauty of autumn, the mystery of the night, the joy of being you- a person like no other in the world.
and again fallinmythos, Blankman, workdog, razorfitness, just a thought WOW great stuff, and brave as fire too
ride wise and ride safe and never be afraid to drink at the sanctuary of Hercules cause some mental wimp is afraid to be different and go there with you
