I have two wishes for lighting projects:
First, to add a loud buzzer to my turn signals, I have a feeling if I’m caught riding down the road with a turn signal left on again they are going to deport me to Florida!
Second, to wire up a switch for four ways, they would make it safer for me when I’m pushing the scoot down a dark 2 line country road at 01:00 in the morning!
If anybody has done this please post how you did it!

i am with ya on the buzzer deal, i pulled out of a gas station and my left signal was on still 50 feet from an intersection , and this guy pulls right in front of me thinkin i was turning but i didn't realize my signal was on till i pulled it up in a wheelie to scare the hell out of him lol. the wheelie worked because he floored it out of the way and had a holy crap look on his face. i rea;ized it when i seen the blink, the problem is my kickstand light is always on and i'm use to seeing yellow lol.
buy a scoot with 4 ways already on it, that's what i did , and i'd rather ride my scoot pushing it to save gas isn't my thing lol

wcurtin1962: My wifes 150 already had the wires in place for 4 way flashers just no switch i figured it out when i had the plastics off the handlebars going thru wiring , i hooked them up to the engine kill switch (which i do not use i always shut it off with the key ) but tried the kill switch that time and it didnt shut down but the 4 ways came on instead. check underneath the kill switch and by the non-functional headlight on off switch and see if there is 2 wires that go to nothing that should be the 4 ways

Thanks for the info! I will dig it the wiring when I work on remounting my windshield. I'm going to disable that pain in the ass starter safety switch on the left brake lever while I'm at it!

I recently hard wired a pair of radio shack piezo buzzers on the rear frame and covered by bodywork. I could have traced out the wiring and just used one on the flasher. is a high pitched beep like some trucks have for a back up alarm. is hard to hear if going at 50 but is about right for having a helmet on and 20 mph. john
