the ads on scooter rebel has made it virtualy impossible for me to navigate the board. the ads come and go and resize the forum area to the extent that everything moves around.
what's the story with this?

It may be your browser, what do you use? I have no problem with firefox or with the internet explorer on my android phone.

medman, i use firefox and windows XP OEM home. when i tried to quote your post it had this to say: "The thread in which you are posting has no effects applied to it."
the ads in question are on the left side of the board and they flash off and on. when they are ofdf the forum resizes itself to the width of my screen. when they come back on the forum resizes itself so the ads can be seen.
also, when trying to access this thread my browser informed me the connection was interrupted.

disabling javascript in my browser seemed to solve the problem.

I use Linux Mint and Firefox is the browser works fine. I am thinking about a dual boot set up on my laptop, some Linux distro and the Windoze 8. I am convinced 8 is much worse than Vista was.
