I finally got my new Michelin tires mounted on the Scoot. O MAN!! what a difference descent tires make. I bought a set of Pilot Sport SC 130 60-13. www.motorcycle-superstore.com/5/32/404/5941/ITEM/Michelin-Pilot-SC-Performance-Scooter-Tire.aspx?SiteID=CSE_Nextag_404&WT.mc_ID=80005&zmam=88421133&zmas=1&zmac=4&zmap=5941The difference from the stock Chino tires is amazing. Just what I was hoping for . You can touch the rubber of the Michelins and feel how much, for a loss of words, Stickier they are. They soak up the small bumps well, but the handling is the best. The Michelins have a much better radius for the street. As in they are more like half a circle. The stock tires have corners on the outside edges. After I had them mounted I took them for a spin and they turned in to the corner so much quicker that I almost clipped the curb. While Billy Joe was mounting them, yup Billy Joe, we put the rear wheel on the balancer just to see how off it was. Just the wheel was off an ounce. Really better than I thought it would be. Now I think there is a place for the Chino tires. If you just did 35 or so and only rode on a dirt road they would probably last forever. Here's a few photo's. Sorry they're a bit dusty from my gravel drive. The stock skins don't look as sqaure edged without air in them. New Rubber Old tires New Rubber

the continental zippy is a great choice if ya have a 10'' scoot sticks like glue rides like crap the first 100 miles like all continental tires (they have to break in) after that smooth as silk im always checking the airpressure cuz they soak up the bumps so well im deathly afraid its gone slack but holds the corners so well i know im just being OCD better safe than sorry
