Very cool.
By the way, love your signature, it pretty much sums it up in one sentence.

We need more pics, glad you got her going. You really need to consider putting a prodigy variator on it now.

Gotta agree with that!
I just installed on my Xingyue Eagle 150, a Prodigy variator which I had on-hand for WAY too long! It was pretty easy. Took only an afternoon, and I worked SLOW and CAREFUL. Somebody who knows what they're doing could do it in an hour.
I used 12 gram rollers, and they seem to be good on my particular scoot... I went from around 55 mph top speed, to 59 mph, and amazingly got better acceleration (SURPRISE)... AND much lower rpm at all speeds. My old top-speed of 55 was at over 9,000 rpm. My new 59 mph speed is at 8,200 to 8,500 rpm. Around-town cruising at 45 is just "loafing" along around 6,000 rpm.
That should equate to longer engine life, AND much better gas mileage.
Unfortunately, my rear brake went out a week later and I'm still fixing it... Can't wait to be back on the road. It's been 80+ and sunshine for a week!
Ride safe,
Leo in Texas

Nice scooter nova own a Bali myself but I have to tell you I don't think the battery will ever hold up with the 50/60W bulbs. The charging system is nominal at best on this scooter. When I say nominal I mean my wife who used to ride this scooter until I bought her a 250 had a brake light switch stick before I put LED's in it and we made a 35 mile ride, pulled up to the gas station and the battery was all but dead.
Good thing is you can kick start it. Fixed the switch changed it all to LED's and haven't had a issue since, step son now rides the scooter and I have a 12AH/210CCA battery in it now.
I'll cross my fingers for you and hope she holds a charge but I would run on dim as much as I could, two bulbs at 60W on at the same time = 10amps. If it gets weak you may want to consider a brighter lower watt halogen bulb or upgrade the 8 pole stator to a 11 pole one.

The stator is behind the fan on the right side of the motor. Really is not that big of a job to swap out.

Which stator is for this scoot? See a/c , d/c 11 pole stators on part sites. And are all the wires the same? Don't want to tear it apart and let it sit waiting on a new one.

Sorry, I do not know what your specific scooter has, I get confused, probably 90 percent of the scooters out there run the same, AC I think. It it kind of easy to tell if you look at your CDI, the unusual one is obviously wider then the common one. Now that might not have done you much good, sorry. Here is a picture of mine, it is the common one. Here is a helpful video on it

Sorry, I was talking about stators not CDI's. A/C or D/C stator on my Roketa Bali 150. Sorry if i confused you.

no, I thought that if you could use this info to see if you had a AC or DC CDI, you could figure the stator was the same as the CDI, AC or DC.
